Occasionally I'll update this page with links to galleries. Usually I like to organise the photos I've taken by date or event or something. For now I am taking these photos with an anachronistic PS Vita 2000, but eventually I'm going to get a Sony CyberShot camera and that'll be my main camera for posting to this website.
Unfortunately, nothing is here yet because I haven't had any time to go out and take photos, but please stay tuned!

I first watched the anime in my teens, where I immediately fell in love with the style and relatable experiences of the main characters. It made a big impact on my life, introducing me to slice-of-life comedy, a bunch of related Japanese media like manga and anime, and a lot of references to make to my friends at school.

I'm Velveteen, but most people call me Vel, and for better or worse, I'm a 90s kid. For a long time I've had personal sites under various different usernames over the years, and I never did all that much with them, so now I want to build and maintain a new website using software I used to mess around with when I was younger.
On this site you might find blog posts talking about old and new things, a photo gallery with pictures taken using older digital point-and-shoot cameras, and maybe some other stuff.
You can use the navigation menu on the left to poke around. I hope that my nostalgia for when the internet was more fun for me can make the internet a bit more fun for you.
