Lucky Star is a Japanese slice-of-life comedy series about a group of best friends going about their daily lives as high-schoolers. It's funny, quirky and super cute. I first watched the anime in my teens, where I immediately fell in love with the style and relatable experiences of the main characters. It made a big impact on my life, introducing me to slice-of-life comedy, a bunch of related Japanese media like manga and anime, and a lot of references to make to my friends at school.
